General Electric Co. (GE) and GE Capital, and Vice-President of a
domestic subsidiary of El Paso Electric - a regional utility.
He has extensive expertise in strategic and tactical planning to
meet clients' needs in the domestic and international industrial,
commercial and public markets.
He is an attorney-at-law skilled in personal injury and property
damages individual and class actions. His practice includes
medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, products liability, toxic
substances, motor vehicle accidents, maritime personal injury,
Social Security disability and Workers' Compensation claims,
employment discrimination, as well as, domestic and international
business development matters, sales, financing, employment,
non-compete agreements and collection proceedings.
He is skilled with utility rates and incentives, performance
contracting, guaranteed savings, measurement and verification
(M & V) and other contractual methods, and demand and supply-
side energy savings solutions, such as, co-generation gas turbine
and diesel electric generation.
Mr. Lopez developed and operated an international subsidiary of
a leasing business. He led acquisition due diligence efforts,
created and led a new value-added financial services entity and
decided legal issues; regulatory restrictions, type of legal entity,
international employment, purchase, sales and financing
contracts, and led the development of international processes;
credit risk evaluation, debt collateralization and multi-currency
transactions.
