Mr. Lopez is member in good standing of the Louisiana State Bar
and is admitted and qualified also to practice as an attorney in
Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
He is a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer in Louisiana.
CULTURAL SKILLS
Mr. Lopez is a native of Santiago, Cuba and emigrated to this
country in 1961. A resident of Louisiana for most of his adult life,
he also resided in Texas and Mexico City. He is bi-cultural and
bi-lingual in the English and Spanish cultures and languages.
MEMBERSHIPS
He is a former member of the Industry Acquisition and Retention
Committee of the El Paso Chamber of Commerce.
He is also a former member of the Board of Directors and of the
Finance Committee of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
of El Paso, Texas.

Mr. Lopez was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas at
El Paso teaching International Business Law to upperclass and
graduate students and also Guest Lecturer at the University of
Texas Pan American in Edinburg, TX.
